My Little Bit Lavish December box arrived yesterday and I am thrilled with it as I always am. There are some more new brands and I am glad that there is an item included that was in the first box that was not available to buy. The theme this month is social butterfly and the items included fit perfectly as usual.
Let us not dilly-dally and get on what with what was included…
Even the content card and packaging has had thought put into it. If you saw my live video on Facebook for the Little Bit Lavish December box which I’ll include at the end of the post you would have seen the box had a festive gold star on the lid of the box. Little Bit Lavish clearly know its the small things that can make all the difference. I love cute touches like that. The content card includes links to all the brands as well in case you would like to repurchase.
Glow for a cause is a brand I mentioned in my first ever Little Bit Lavish review. As mentioned in my live video this brand gives 5% to its partner non-profit organisations which include Cowgirls vs Cancer, Boston Firefighter Burn Foundation, The Red Sox Foundation, MaxFund Animal Adoption Centre, The Gathering Place and Berni’s Journey.
I received Wish which is a solid perfume it’s ‘A magical blend of sparkling light florals, white tea, and bergamot grounded by light musks’.
Personally I find this relaxing so love to put it on after my evening shower or before bed.
RRP is £12.
The mulled wine cracker is from Green Cuisine, it would be lovely to put in a Christmas hamper if you are doing one. All you need to do is add to wine or cider and there you have your festive drink. I love how simple this makes it, I’ll let you know how I get on with it. This item fits into the theme seamlessly clearly.
Jamela skincare is a brand I think I have seen around but haven’t tried previously. These will be great if you need a perk before a night out or after a heavy night to calm any puffiness. These will help if your skin is feeling dehydrated or simply need some TLC. Aer Lingus even list these as a must have in their in flight brochure that’s how good they are meant to be! I love how soothing eye masks are so I can’t wait to try these out.
RRP £17 for a pack
White Rabbit is a brand I have heard of but never tried before. That is until this lip balm that smells of Terry’s chocolate orange came in the Little Bit Lavish December box. I love love love Terry’s chocolate orange so of course love this balm! As tempting as it is I wouldn’t advise eating it but is does however work very nicely as a balm. It’s perfect for keeping your lips in tip top condition to make sure your lipstick goes on nicely. This is a natural and vegan skincare line free from nasties- yayyy. It is something I will be buying again once I lose it (I seems to lose balms before I can get anywhere near finishing them).
I am sure I have seen Cougar somewhere before but I can’t think where… Moving on from my failing memory.. (UPDATE: I finally remembered where I have seen it, I have a lip balm by this brand I still can’t remember where from though)
So the first makeup item in a Little Bit Lavish box is this Cougar highlighter in Golden Bliss. This is my sort of highlighter, it’s a fine golden shimmer rather than chunky glitter. I have tested this out and it is buildable. With a light hand it can be discrete or build easily till your hearts content for a more striking look. It also came with a cute kabuki brush which is a perfect size to pop in your handbag.
Without a doubt this is my favourite item in the Little Bit Lavish December box. I am blown away by the generous size that is included as well.
I know Little Bit Lavish has a track record of getting it right with their boxes but this month they have succeeded where other boxes have failed. Anyone remember getting a diary in a January box this year… Lets be honest anyone that needs one has bought one by the time you are part way through January and started using it too! However Little Bit Lavish very sensibly so has included this pretty diary from Busy B. I haven’t bought one yet and this is a perfect size to put in my handbag without weighing a tonne. It has got useful note pages throughout and a handy pocket at the back.
I popped onto the Busy B site for a browse and ended up buying a few other bits. This may become another brand I love thanks to Little Bit Lavish. It is a stationery addicts heaven!
Little Bit Lavish December box has a RRP of over £55!

A bit about the brands, ‘The brands we choose to be featured in Little bit Lavish will be a mixture of established companies to cottage industries. The majority of the products will be organic or natural and all will be cruelty free.’
