I picked this gorgeous set up in Barcelona from Sephora as part of my haul that I’m slowly getting round to trying out. It’s called Marc Jacobs The Nude(ist) and includes a lipstick, mirror and eyeliner. This cost €20 so really good value.
The lovely nude rose lipstick is shade 110 Role Play. It’s part of the sheer gel lipstick collection. The coverage is more medium than sheer and really creamy to apply. I found it moisturising to wear and it is a creamy finish with a slight shine but not too much. Role Play is buildable and wears off in an even manner after about 2 hours. Harrods stocks the full size version priced at £24.
Marc Jacobs The Nude set also included Blacquer Highliner eyeliner which I have previously reviewed here. It’s a lovely waterproof, smooth eyeliner that twists up and down so there’s no need to sharpen. The full size version is also available at Harrods for £19.
This is the item that caught my eye the most in this set I have to admit. It’s a credit card size mirror in its own nude/ cream pochette. The pochette itself is really well made as you can see with uniform stitching and Marc Jacobs stamped on the front. The mirror itself is double sided and amazing quality that matches a normal mirrors quality. There is a tab at the top to pull it out it’s pochette and Marc Jacobs is engraved on the front. I’ve taken to keeping a few business cards behind the mirror as I sometimes forget to take them with me.
I did actually get two Marc Jacobs The Nude sets and gave one to a friend so I hope she loved it as much as me.
